You will not have the ability to easily create things in mid-air

Blocks will stack normally but a good Minecraft Maps most them aren't strong enough to carry up in mid air.

 As soon as you place them on the side of a block with no support below, they shall fall to the bottom.


If you use more powerful blocks like bricks or planks however, blocks with more structure, you'll be able to place them on the side of other less steady blocks.

It's definitely an enormous challenge to build things with this method in Minecraft.and you'll now need to plan every block you place much more carefully.
